About The Mabra Foundation
The Ronnie Mabra Foundation, Inc is a 501(c)(3) charitable service foundation. The motivation for The Ronnie Mabra Foundation, Inc., (Corporation) came as a result of five consecutive years of supporting Hon. Ronnie Mabra (D-GA) as he graciously provided over 1,000 turkeys annually to families that are in need in the greater Atlanta area.
There were no requirements of the recipient other than to register online in order to have the turkey reserved. Online registration information only required email address, physical address, and phone number, which were exclusively used for identification information and the avoidance of duplicate household registrations.
The experience of receiving several hundred phone calls, and several thousand registrations over the four year period made evident the necessity to do more. The turkey giveaway efforts were supported by local media, which interviewed Mr. Mabra onsite, as well as a major radio station which dispatched a popular personality each year to conduct onsite live call-ins.

In addition to helping to feed those in need, the Ronnie Mabra Foundation also places emphases on family health by coordinating with local doctors and health clinics to provide free health screenings and information. Veteran Support
he Ronnie Mabra Foundation places an emphasis on supporting our men and women in uniform who have found difficulty since separation from service. By teaming with the Atlanta VA Homeless Program and other service organizations, veterans are identified and fed each Thanksgiving holiday. The Ronnie Mabra Foundation applauds the work the Atlanta VA is doing in the fight against veteran homelessness.Support our Veterans!
